Every two years there is a major transition of lay leaders in our congregations. How do these changes affect the sacred partnership between lay leaders and clergy? Between lay leaders and office staff? How do they impact moving forward with a long range plan? Just as it is critical to plan for leadership succession, so is it equally important to plan for leadership transitions so that they can be exceptionally positive experiences for everyone.
